How to verify origin, condition and warranty

A due-diligence checklist for claims that are not proven by a catalogue page.

PRACTICAL CHECKLIST

How should buyers verify origin, condition and warranty claims?

  1. Separate new, rebuilt, used and other conditions.
  2. Identify the stated manufacturer and origin.
  3. Request traceable markings and packaging photos where relevant.
  4. Ask which documents will accompany shipment.
  5. Record warranty duration, scope and exclusions.
  6. Do not infer authorization or genuine origin from a brand reference alone.

Important: RootReach does not claim to be the equipment manufacturer or an authorized dealer of referenced brands.

SAMPLE APPROVAL & SUPPORTING EVIDENCE

What evidence is needed before approving a replacement mining part?

Match the part number to the machine make, model and serial, then compare markings, interfaces and dimensions. Record the requested condition and any proposed alternative. A reference number or photograph alone is not written fitment confirmation.

What to request from the supplier

Request item-specific compatibility confirmation, condition information and the inspection records required for the enquiry. Resolve unclear references before approving a replacement.
