A request for quotation (RFQ) tells a supplier what you need and makes offers easier to compare. Use these checklists to prepare an enquiry for RootReach Global, a China-based trading and sourcing business working from Shahe and Shanghai.
Start with the product name, intended use, specification or reference image, order quantity and destination country or port. Add your target delivery date, packaging needs and any standards your buyer requires. If a detail is undecided, mark it as open rather than guessing.
Keep production time separate from shipping time. Ask the supplier to identify the exact specification, currency, sample costs, MOQ, payment schedule and shipping terms in its written offer. A target price is useful context, not an agreed quotation.
BEFORE YOU REQUEST PRICES
Three answers for a clearer sourcing enquiry
Prepared by RootReach Global · Updated
How do I compare quotations from Chinese suppliers?
Give each supplier the same specification, quantity, packing requirements and destination. Compare the quoted unit, currency, shipping terms and named place, included costs, inspection scope and payment schedule. Record every exception. A lower unit price is not a like-for-like saving when the specification or included services differ.
Can I send an enquiry before I have a complete specification?
Yes. Send the product application, quantity, destination and any drawing, sample reference or photographs you have. Mark missing details as open. RootReach uses this information to coordinate clarification; a final quotation needs an agreed specification and supplier confirmation.
What should I confirm about samples and test reports?
Ask which specification and production process the sample represents, what sampling costs include, and what acceptance criteria will apply to the order. For a test report, check the identified product, tested property, method, date and issuing laboratory. Agree in writing whether additional testing is needed for your intended use.
This checklist describes how to prepare and compare enquiries. Product requirements come from the buyer's specification and must be confirmed in the supplier's written offer.

Mining equipment parts sourcing checklist
RootReach coordinates mining-parts enquiries with partner supplier YUZUO. We are the trading and sourcing contact, not the equipment manufacturer or an authorized dealer of the brands below.
The supplier lists parts for selected Hitachi, Komatsu, Caterpillar, Liebherr and P&H models. A brand or model mention is not a blanket compatibility guarantee.
Hydraulic parts
Hydraulic and gear pumps, fan pumps and motors, swing and travel assemblies, control valves, hydraulic cylinders and center joints.
Undercarriage parts
Track rollers, carrier rollers, idlers, sprockets, track shoes, track chains and related assemblies.
Buckets & wear parts
Bucket and ground-engaging-tool enquiries, including teeth, adapters, lip shrouds and wear components; exact assemblies require confirmation.
Electrical parts
Controllers, sensors, switches, relays, wiring harnesses, monitors, lamps and related electrical components.
Structural & mechanical parts
Boom and arm components, frames, pins, bushings, bearings, gears, shafts, pulleys and selected fabricated components.
Send your parts list to RootReach for a line-by-line check. Public catalogue entries do not guarantee stock, genuine origin, certification, warranty or interchangeability.
Equipment type, brand, full model, serial number and part number; attach a nameplate or old-part photo where possible.
Quantity per line, required dimensions and preferred supply option: genuine original or aftermarket replacement, subject to supplier evidence.
Destination, required delivery date, packing and inspection scope; confirm fitment, origin, warranty and commercial terms in writing.
Product scope reference: YUZUO public catalogue. Reviewed 14 September 2026; supplier confirmation is required before quotation or order.
Before you approve an order
Confirm the sample or agreed specification, inspection scope and acceptance criteria in writing. Verify that documents refer to the exact product and destination requirements. Agree who is responsible for freight, insurance, import duties and taxes.
These are enquiry checklists, not a stock catalogue or a claim that every listed specification is available. Product availability, samples, certifications, lead times and commercial terms must be confirmed for each supplier and order.
